Elijah

Age 16

“Check out Elijah! He is in 10th grade and his favorite subject is History.  Those who know him describe him as a sweet, respectful, self-advocating and deserving youth who craves permanency. He describes himself as outgoing and energetic. He is working on gaining more confidence in social settings as he appears shy and nervous at first meeting. He fears failure and does not like to disappoint those he trusts. He loves gaming, reading, and exploring all things tech. He really likes learning how things work. He enjoys listening to music, playing collectible trading card games and collectible shoes. He eats all kinds of food but especially likes Italian dishes. Occasionally, when emotions are high, he will need re-direction, guidance and support. He will need someone who can be patient with him. Elijah wants to be loved and accepted for all that he is, even if he is still trying to figure that out. He is open to a traditional couple, same sex couple or a single adult of any ethnic background. He desires a forever family that is non-religious where he can be the only child. His forever family will need to have patience and be able to re-direct him as needed while providing him with the love and attention he is longing for.  He would like to remain in contact with family members.”
